I’m a big believer in documenting real moments. To achieve this, I may give you some guidance or direction, like, “pull your partner in close” — something that will spark an action and allows you to do what is most comfortable to you.
Every couple is different and my hope is to showcase those differences that make you unique. Have a secret handshake? A safe spot? Matching tattoos? Let’s capture it all.
01. Inquire
Send an initial message and we can chat more about your vision, timeline, location, etc. This is where I really get to know you and what you're passionate about. We'll also create a contract and set up a payment plan for you.
02. Plan
From the moment you send your inquiry, I’m there for you — need help deciding what to wear or what to bring? I've got you! Type A Kaycee is all about getting things organized & prepped before our shoot.
03. Shoot Day
We made it to shoot day! I will likely send you a text the day prior to confirm that we're good to go! I may even ask for your coffee or smoothie order. After our shoot, you'll receive sneak peeks within 48 hrs.
FAQ
Do Your Packages Include Travel?
For travel near the Kansas City area, there is no fee. Beyond Kansas City, there is a state mileage rate applied as a travel fee. If the wedding is 2+ hours away, it may be requested that you provide a hotel room as well.
Do You Require A Deposit?
Yes I do! A $300 deposit goes toward your engagement session, planning consult, and reserving your wedding date in my calendar. After that, we can set up a payment plan.
What Should I Wear?
I'll send a copy of my guide that will prepare you for your session! You’ll get tips on what to wear, what to expect, how to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and more.
Do You Offer RAW Images?
To maintain my artistic integrity and provide my clients with the absolute best experience, I am unable to provide raw images in any way.
When Can We Expect Our Photos?
Sneak peeks are sent within 48 hours of your shoot. For an engagement, brand, or senior session, you can expect to receive your full gallery within two weeks. For weddings, you can expect to receive your full gallery within six weeks, which will be delivered via an online gallery that you’ll have full download rights to.
What Happens If The Weather Is Bad?
If the weather is bad, I am always willing to work with you to reschedule! Just keep me updated!
